Researching...

Your part is done!

Your situation has been assigned to a helpful health insurance adviser to do some in depth research for you.
(Health insurance can be complicated.)

If we require more information to narrow down the result, we will be in touch.

We give a 5-star service because we care about what you need and help you think outside the box.

Here are some important questions we may reach out to ask you:

Is Bronze, Silver, or Gold hospital cover right for you?

Did you know that doctors can often see cataracts growing for up to 10 years before they are big enough to perform surgery on?

Did you know that many policies have an ‘accident override’ feature on their Bronze and Silver levels of hospital cover that will cover joint replacements and rehabilitation if it’s the direct result of an accident rather than wear and tear?

Did you know that everyone can request a free upgrade to Psychiatric cover in private hospital with only a 1-day waiting period once in their lifetime?

Should you cover something “just-in-case” or only if there are pre-exisiting conditions?

There are many facts we can share with you that will affect your decision and certainly affect your policy price.

How often do you see the dentist, physiotherapist, chiropractor or remedial massage?

When you tick a box to include any health services, we still don’t know to what degree you need them. If you attend fortnightly or monthly, you’ll need a high annual limit. If you only go occasionally or as needed, you want a policy that pays a high % of the bill for when you do go.

We may take you through these questions on a call to help refine which policy puts the most money back into your pocket.

Do you need major dental just in case or do you have significant work coming up?

Policy A might have just a bit of major dental for just-in-cases coverage.

Policy B might have thousands of dollars for root canal, crowns, implants or orthodontics. Some policies don’t cover dentures.

We need to ask you these questions or we’re not helping you at all.

Do you use single vision, bi-focial, multi-focal or contact lenses?

Most policy documents for health insurance products don’t tell you the fine print on what the rebates are for these different types of optical.

Finding out the hard way – at the counter trying to make a claim – is not ideal for you.

What are your nearest private hospitals and do they have an agreement in place with your health fund?

Do you know what health funds are accepted at your nearest private hospitals?

Do you know how each health fund performs in your State in terms of doctor recognition and gap cover performance?

Ask your helpful health adviser if your nearest private hospitals have an agreement with any health funds.

Are there any other factors that may affect your policy price?

Do you have any Lifetime Healthcover Loading (LHC) penalties? If so, what are they?

Have you had a drop in hospital cover in the last 10 years?

Which government rebate are you entitled to based on your household gross annual income? Are you claiming the right one?
